Can you tell me where, in either the article or the comments, you have drawn this conclusion? Because it's not obvious to me, nor is it accurate.

the battle you seem to be fighting for states right. that battle has been won... the states lost (1864). no different then when i let the dog out, he thinks he is free, but then theres that dam fence.

this basic argument between Hamilton and Jefferson is still unresolved. republicans want Jeffersonian Sovereignty on abortion and Federalism for Gay marriage.

theses two men had two distinctly different theories of government. theses core differences make up the basis of our two party system.

Thanks for your comments -- my brother and friends were always going to search for Bigfoot in British Columbia, when we were younger. I guess there was even a deputy up in Sabula (IA) who used to carry a tranquilizer gun in his cruiser, because there are a lot of woods up there to hide such a creature (maybe he saw one once too?). I saw your comments over on the losing your religion thread. I had said the same thing about it. There's no theme. It's just as close to a chat room not in real time that you can have in a place like this. I read it every once in awhile. Sometimes the comments are really funny and entertaining.
